BIOGRAPHY

I have lived on the North Shore of Boston for most of my adult life and love the natural beauty of the area.  My paintings, in a realistic style, are inspired by this beauty.  I paint in both oil and watercolor and enjoy the unique characteristics of each medium.  I am especially interested in light and shadow and try to capture this in each of my paintings. I have traveled frequently in Europe, especially to Italy and England, and many of my paintings reflect my love of each of these places.

 

I have studied for several years with Rockport artist Caleb Stone.  I am a member of the Rockport Art Association, the North Shore Arts Association, and the Danvers Art Association.
